Perfect and nice location on the beautiful island of Samosir, met the criteria. The most important was the staff - very amiable and easy going people. The rooms were reasonably large and cozy with balcony and nice view, for example, no complaints whatsoever.

really enjoyed our time here. we spend 4 nights in tuktuk siadong really good. the location of the hotel was quiet and absolutely perfect, in a peaceful area. further, it was short walk to the restaurant, and the lake right in front of the house. all the staff was really helpful.

Wanted to explore Tuktuk Siadong and this hotel was great base for doing it. It was an unbeatable and magnificent location for us, near to the lake right in front of the house, and the outskirts of Tuk Tuk. We greatly enjoyed the Asian cuisine in the restaurant.

The rooms were large and cozy with nice view, balcony, nothing to complain about. The hotel's location was perfect, right by the mountains and the lake. It also was in a sketchy basement area.

This place had stunning views and a lovely staff. The room was basic but comfortable with a comfy bed and hot water. The balcony was awesome and offered a great space to relax. The location was also key, with beautiful lake views to wake up to. Plus, it was great that I could hire a scooter from reception.

Some guests reported that the bathroom had an unpleasant smell, possibly due to cats living in the roof.

For the price, our stay at Sibayak Guesthouse was excellent. The room was basic but comfortable, with a hot shower that worked perfectly. The location was lovely, tucked away in a quiet part of town, and the view from our doorstep was absolutely phenomenal. The staff was incredibly friendly, going out of their way to lend us a universal socket and providing a helpful map of the must-visit places around Lake Toba. We also appreciated the option to rent a bike right at the guesthouse.

The breakfast offerings could have been improved with more variety.

The rooms at Sibayak Guesthouse were absolutely stunning! I stayed in a double room with a balcony and the mountain view was breathtaking. The tile floor added a touch of elegance and I loved lounging in the seating area. The free WiFi was a bonus!

I wasn't a huge fan of the electric kettle in the quadruple room. Personal preference though, others might find it useful.

the staff at the guesthouse went above and beyond to make our city break in tuk tuk memorable. they welcomed us with a drink, provided lots of helpful information, and even helped us arrange transport to medan. their friendly and helpful attitude really stood out.
